Angela Carmichael

Angela Carmichael provides expertise in consumer, corporate and technology communications. She has experience from both the corporate and agency side of the business, handling product launches and B2C and B2B messaging. Carmichael, who has counseled the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and Alzheimer’s Association, is on the board for The Little Geeks Foundation.

Anna Lilly is a public affairs and strategic communications specialist based in Vancouver. Working with clients in the natural resource, transportation, energy, retail and real estate industries, her expertise includes issues management, crisis communications, government relations and corporate social responsibility. A former journalist, she has worked extensively in media relations and has conducted numerous media training and crisis preparation sessions.

Anne Marie Quinn

Anne Marie Quinn is a public affairs specialist focused on issues management, government relations, and policy research and development. Working primarily with financial services clients, she specializes in capital markets, insurance, and pension and retirement income communications. In addition to her previous role at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Quinn also has served politicians at the provincial and municipal levels of government.

Bill Walker

Bill Walker, general manager of Fleishman-Hillard’s Toronto office, counsels clients from many sectors, including financial services and healthcare. He’s experienced in media training and crisis communications, as well as working with C-level executives and digital programs. Walker previously held multiple roles for The Toronto Star, including bureau chief at the Ontario Legislature, parliamentary bureau chief in Ottawa and Washington bureau chief.

Charles Muggeridge

Charles Muggeridge, a member of the agency’s healthcare team, counsels clients on advocacy programs, product launches and recalls, patient awareness campaigns, supply problems, and environmental concerns. He also has extensive experience in media relations and the agriculture biotechnology industry. A former journalist, Muggeridge covered business, politics and health for the Welland Tribune newspaper and worked as an editor for the Canadian Diabetes Association.

David Scott

David Scott leads Fleishman-Hillard’s national financial and investor communications team. He has experience in the financial services, natural resources, nonprofit and government sectors, with proven expertise in global strategy development, crisis management, media relations, executive visibility and presentation training. In addition, he has provided senior counsel on labour disruptions, class action lawsuits, regulatory interventions, acquisitions, proxy fights and hostile takeover bids.

Jackie Asante

Jackie Asante is a public affairs specialist with expertise in corporate communications, as well as media and presentation training. Her experience spans multiple sectors, including telecom, biotechnology, law and financial services, professional sports, healthcare, unionized labor and government. Among her previous roles, Asante worked for the Ministry of Health and handled communications for the Canadian Institute of the Arts for Young Audiences.

Jennifer Shah

Jennifer Shah provides strategic communications, digital integration, and social media counsel to a wide range of clients. Her experience includes supporting both multinationals and local companies from a variety of industries. Previously, she held agency and client-side positions, including working for Roots, where she helped lead the digital marketing for the 2004 British and Canadian Olympic teams.

Jennifer Torney has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications, public affairs, and public relations. She has worked with organizations in diverse industries, including natural resources, professional and financial services, healthcare, travel and tourism, and technology. Torney managed many high-profile projects during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games and previously was the head of communications for an international digital agency.

John Bozzo

John Bozzo brings more than 30 years of experience across multiple disciplines, including reputation management and integrated communications. He also specializes in healthcare communications, with a focus on social marketing. Bozzo, an instructor with the Schulich Business School, has had his branding work featured in the book Ikonica, a Field Guide to Canada’s Brandscape, as well as at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

John Capobianco, Fleishman-Hillard’s national lead for public affairs, has more than 20 years of grassroots political experience at all levels of government. He also has financial sector expertise, which he gained as a senior political adviser for the Ontario government. Capobianco, president of the Public Affairs Association of Canada and a regular political commentator, twice won a Toronto-area Conservative Party of Canada nomination.

Kevin Macintosh

Kevin Macintosh is a government relations specialist, working with clients in the energy, financial services, and telecom sectors. He has held multiple roles on Parliament Hill, including serving as a communications adviser in the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Energy, Science, and Technology. Macintosh also previously worked for Tarion Warranty Corp., where he helped oversee issues management and rebranding.

Mark Reder

Mark Reder is general manager of Fleishman-Hillard’s Vancouver office, where he leads the public affairs team. He counsels on diverse matters, including project developments, crisis situations, policy and legislative change, and corporate restructuring. Previously, he served as the commercial and economic consul at the British High Commission in Canada. Reder also helped establish the first cross-cultural communications consulting practice in Taiwan.
